  • League Makeup:
  • Each team plays 8 games against teams in their division and 7 games against teams outside their division for a total of 82 games played.
  • The regular season is 17 weeks long. The playoffs and Super Tournament are the following 6 weeks.
  • The All-Star week will be an off week for games, trades, and transactions.
  • In the continuous leagues, the 4 playoff teams retain 3 players. The non-playoff teams retain 4 players.
  • The roster size is 15 players in ALL leagues.
  • The pick order for the redraft will be based on team records through week 12. This will prevent teams from trying to “tank” to get a better pick position. If a team makes the playoffs they will automatically pick between 9-12.
  • Tanking:
  • Losing on purpose or “Tanking” will not be permitted under ANY circumstances.
  • Negligence is not tanking. If someone is not paying attention and doesn’t make lineup changes, it is not considered tanking.
  • If someone is caught blatantly tanking, they will be penalized and will not be able to change their lineup for the rest of the season.
  • It is up to the members of each league to monitor and make sure that no one is trying to lose on purpose.

  • Draft:
  • The Draft will consist of 14 rounds in which each team picks once per round.
  • The team that picks first in the 1st round, picks last in the 2nd, 3rd. The team that picks last in the 1st round picks first in the 2nd, 3rd. After the 3rd round it inverts every round.
  • The draft order is determined by random envelope selection.
  • NOTE: There is no cost for the phone draft.

  • Player Positions:
  • Each player counts at one position for the entire season (CF,C,F,GF,G) . These positions are determined before the draft.
  • Players can earn a new position by starting 10 games at the new position.
  • Weekly Line-up:
Every week your starting line-up includes:
  • 2 Forwards, 1 Center, and 2 Guards.
Each team starts up to 12 backups:
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Backup Forward.
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Backup Center.
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Backup Guard.
  • Backups are not required at all 12 positions.

  • Scoring:
    The Scoring is as follows:
  • 1 point per point scored.
  • 1 point per rebound.
  • 1 point per assist.
  • 1 point per blocked shot.
  • 1 point per steal.
  • -1 point per turnover.

  • Weekly Scoring:
  • Your two forwards combine for 10 games played. If they play less than 10 games, then the scores from the 1st backup forward fill in for those games missed. If your 1st backup forward plays more games than games needed, then you divide by the number of games played by that forward and insert the average for every game needed.
  • For example, Tracy McGrady and Paul Pierce are your starting forwards. They played in 8 games. Your backup forward Pau Gasol played in 4 games and scored 129 points. Since Pau played more games than games needed, you divide 129 by 4 and get the average of 32.25 points per game. So, Pau scores 64.50 or 64 points rounded down. Under this scenario, it did not matter what the 2nd backup scored, since he was not needed.
  • The 2nd backups only count if the 1st backup did not fulfill the games needed.
  • Your center counts for 5 games played. The same principle applies for your backup center.
  • Your two guards combine for 10 games played. The same rules apply for the backup guards as for the backup forwards.

  • Deadlines:
  • By the first game on Monday, your full weekly line-up must be left on the Mr. Sports Integrated Phone System or on the web site.
  • Trades are due by Wednesday Midnight Central Time on the phone system or on the web site.
  • Round 1 of Transactions and Trade Talk are due by Thursday Midnight Central Time on the phone system or on the web site. Round 2 of Transactions are due by Friday Midnight Central Time on the phone system or on the web site.

  • Trades:
  • Once two teams agree on the trade then each person must call in the trade to the Mr. Sports Voicemail System. If the trade is not identical it does not go through.
  • There is no trading limit. No cash or "player to be named later" trades will be allowed.
  • There will be a 10 person Trade Committee that will bote on every trade submitted. Trades with more positive votes then negative votes will go through. The Commissioner des NOT have the power to overturn the Trade Committee's decisions.
  • You MUST waive a player if your roster is going to exceed the 14 player limit.
  • You are not allowed to trade players that you just received that week.
  • The Trade Deadline is the Wednesday before Week 13.

  • Wins and Losses:
  • To determine wins and losses, your total score for the week is compared to the total score for all the teams you played. Those you outscored, you defeated. Those that outscored you, defeated you.
  • The winner in the case of a tie will be the team with the highest scoring player.
  • If the highest scoring players are also tied, the winner is the team with the second highest scoring player. If the two teams are still tied, then the winner is the team with the third highest, etc.

  • Waivers/Free Agents:
  • You can pick up ONLY two players per week.
  • For each round of pickups, if two teams want the same player, the team with the worst record gets him, with a tie breaker going to the team with the lowest average.
  • If a player is waived to complete a trade or waived in round 1 transactions, he is available to be picked up the same week. If a player is waived for a transaction for round 2, he is not available to be picked up until the following week.
  • Transactions can be made through the League Finals. For the playoffs, a transaction period will be available during the second week of the 1st and 2nd round for ALL teams in continuous leagues and playoff teams ONLY in one year leagues.

  • Playoffs:
  • After 17 weeks of play, the top team in each division and the two top teams that did not win the divisions advances to the playoffs.
  • If two teams have the same win total, the tie-breaker is scoring average, then head-to-head record.
  • The 4 playoff teams are seeded based on record with 1 playing 4, and 2 playing 3.
  • These teams play each other during weeks 18 and 19.
  • The higher seed gets 1 point per difference in total scoring average before the playoff round starts.
  • The higher seed gets 1 point per difference in total scoring average before the playoff round starts.
  • A wild card team cannot have home field over a divisional winner, even if they have the better average.
  • If the team with the higher seed has the worst average or the worst record, there is no advantage for either team.
  • If two teams are tied after the two weeks the winner is the team with the highest contributing player over the 2 weeks. If still tied, then second highest, etc.
  • The two winning teams play during weeks 20 and 21 of the season with the highest scorer declared champion of the league and advances to the Super Tournament.
